Teaching magazine farm animals
How are cows, pigs and hens?
About the natural behaviour of our farm animals, correct husbandry and animal friendly consumerism.
Pupils learn about characteristics and needs of our farm animals e.g. chickens need sand baths and discover their environment with their apex. Cows have best friends within their herds and pigs are so curious that they prefer to rummage all day long. An animal friendly husbandry system allows these animals to behave naturally.
