As well as introducing the teaching material "Understand animals with WELL-KA-HU-KA-MEER-PLOPP" from "Tierschutz macht Schule" an array of teaching tools for animal welfare education will be presented. About Judith: Judith Palmer is a well-travelled teacher of English and Biology with a love for animal welfare and marine biology. Working as pedagogical adviser for museums after university, she then taught at a middle school for ten years, where she discovered a passion for “Lerndesign” and student- activating-methods. After working as a dive instructor and doing field studies in Africa, she is now conducting animal welfare lectures and workshops for all age groups as well as producing and translating teaching material for the association “Tierschutz macht Schule”.
